Dolly Parton is gearing up to release her Dolly Beauty cosmetics line later this year.

Three years after unveiling her fragrance in 2021, the country music star is expanding her footprint in the beauty space by launching Dolly Beauty with the Heaven's Kiss lipstick collection.

The line features four shades with names like Jolene Red - inspired by the title of her classic song - as well as Honey Plum, Rosebud and Birthday Suit, which are pale pink and neutral shades.

The 9 to 5 singer, who is known for always rocking a full make-up look, told WWD that she used her experience as a longtime cosmetics consumer to help inform the line.

"I started creating my own little make-up things at home when I was just a kid, and I've been known for wearing make-up - usually too much - for years," she shared.

"Every time I put on make-up, I'll find certain things I want to put in the line. A great, thicker gloss, or a pearly gloss, or something that I've used and will find in an old drawer I remember loving. Lord knows, nobody wears more make-up than me, so I know all the little things I want."

The 78-year-old was heavily involved in all aspects of the line, from sampling formulas to designing the rhinestone-covered packaging.

And the lipstick collection is just the beginning - Dolly has big plans for expanding her line.

"I've always wanted my own wig line," the music icon said. "But I always loved make-up, and when we did the fragrance, make-up seemed like the next step. Through the years, we'll be doing different products with make-up, and eventually, we may do hair care or this or that. Anything that has to do with beauty - new dreams come every day."

The Heaven's Kiss collection will be available to buy from the Dolly Beauty website from 22 August.
