Winter just doesn’t want to let go!

Montreal is under two weather alerts for Monday, January 27, 2025.

The first alert warns of strong winds reaching up to 90 km/h tonight, according to Environment Canada. These high winds could toss loose objects and break tree branches, so caution is advised.

The second alert focuses on heavy snow and plunging temperatures. Environment Canada notes that “following the passage of a cold front, temperatures will fall significantly. An arctic air mass will then sweep across the province, causing temperatures to plummet.”

Travel conditions could become hazardous due to sudden weather changes and near-zero visibility. Make sure to stay safe and plan accordingly.
