If you’ve been wanting to ride the REM but haven’t had the chance yet, you’ll be happy to know that the service will be completely free this weekend!

To celebrate the grand opening of the Deux-Montagnes station, the REM is offering free rides to all Quebecers.

You’ll be able to hop on the REM for free across the entire network, between Deux-Montagnes and Gare Centrale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and between Gare Centrale and Brossard following the regular schedule.

However, bicycles and pets will not be permitted this weekend, as the REM expects high ridership.
