'Acoustic Heartbeat' • I would like to thank all of you (new or long-time) followers for following, liking and commenting on my work. I am growing thanks to your support and I mean it: without you I wouldn't be here. Thank you SO much for all the ❤️ . I am always so excited to share my new photomontages with you, I know you follow many other artists and I'm so grateful that you chose to follow me too. Art is a personal expression; and people can decide to share their art or not. But if I created and never shared my work, I'd be like in this photomontage: I would still have the creative tools (my hands) but no heart or soul, no connection with the people I could share it with. It's like the expression 'If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around, does it still make a sound?' Is it art if it isn't shared? 'Once In A Blue Moon' • This photomontage was inspired by my passion for dreams and their meanings. Have you ever heard about lucid dreaming? This is when you become conscious during your dream state. It's one of the best feelings ever! I learnt how to have lucid dreams by reading Stephen LaBerge's 'Lucid Dreaming' book. When you realise that you are dreaming, you have control over what happens in your dream and you can do whatever you want (my favourite: flying!). You can also talk to people who passed away, face your fears, and develop your creativity. It takes a lot of practice because at first you will wake up as soon as your realise you're dreaming - a bit like in Inception, when the subconscious attacks - but it's worth persevering, and there are techniques to overcome that✨ When we think that we spend about 25 years of our lives sleeping... ?? What are your thoughts on that?
