The CEO of Lululemon, Laurent Potdevin, has resigned following accusations of “poor conduct”, the company said in a statement. As of now, it’s unclear what exactly Mr. Potedevin did. The company is keeping that a secret in order to protect all the people implicated and to protect the company from any media backlash.
Potdevin, 50, has been at the helm of Lululemon since 2014. His resignation includes a $5 million payment from the athletic wear retailer.
The company’s statement is quite opaque, but does suggest Mr. Potdevin lacked respect and integrity.
Lululemon expects all employees to exemplify the highest levels of integrity and respect for one another. Mr. Potdevin fell short of these standards of conduct.
