Five Breakfast Smoothies: One for Each Weekday!

Start your day healthy with these easy smoothie recipes.

Chai, from The Domestic Geek blog, had this AMAZING idea for a smoothie routine that’s easy to incorporate into your daily life. There’s a recipe for each one, and a different colour code for each weekday!

Monday — Yellow Smoothie

Ingredients:
½ cup pineapple juice
½ cup Greek yogurt
½ cup frozen pineapple, diced
½ cup frozen mango
1 banana, chopped
1 tsp grated ginger

Directions:
Pour the liquid ingredients into the blender.
Next add the remaining ingredients.
Blend the mixture until combined.
The blended mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Serve and enjoy!

Tuesday — Orange Smoothie

Ingredients:
¼ cup orange juice
½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 small orange, peeled and frozen
½ peach, peeled and diced
1 carrot – grated

Directions:
Pour the liquid ingredients into the blender.
Next add the remaining ingredients.
Blend the mixture until combined.
The blended mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Serve and enjoy!

Wednesday — Red Smoothie

Ingredients:
¼ cup almond milk
½ cup Greek yogurt
½ cup frozen raspberries
½ cup frozen strawberries
½ cup frozen watermelon

Directions:
Pour the liquid ingredients into the blender.
Next add the remaining ingredients.
Blend the mixture until combined.
The blended mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Serve and enjoy!

 Thursday — Purple Smoothie

½ cup frozen blackberries
½ cup frozen blueberries
¼ cupcherries,pitted

Directions:
Pour the liquid ingredients into the blender.
Next add the remaining ingredients.
Blend the mixture until combined.
The blended mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Serve and enjoy!

 

Friday — Green Smoothie

2 kiwis, peeled
1 handful of baby spinach
