The family of Ariel Jeffrey Kouakou, 10, is desperate to find their son, who has been missing since last Monday. They first offered a $10,000 reward to anyone who would provide information leading to their son. They later raised the amount to $25,000 after boxing champion Adonis Stevenson donated $15,000 to the cause.
An amber alert was issued Tuesday, but yielded no clues as to the boy’s whereabouts.
Police have gone door-to-door in Ahuntsic-Cartierville and have scoured back yard, to no avail. This morning, they’re performing a risky dive in nearby Rivière-des-Prairies, where they believe he could have fallen.
So far, the public outreach to try to find Ariel had yielded a whopping 247 tips to police from citizens. Unfortunately, the boy is still missing.
His parents believe Ariel was abducted.
Anyone with information is asked to reach out to police by calling 911 or Info-Crime at 514-393-1133.
