A new study found that childhood obesity is reduced by 75% when moms simply lead by example: healthy eating, regular exercise and moderate alcohol consumption. The number jumps to 82% when moms encourage their children to follow these good habits. But even just HAVING a healthy body weight is enough to reduce childhood obesity by 56% - without encouraging or demonstrating good habits.
