Montreal, January 29, 2019 – The Beat 92.5 is proud to introduce Andy Wilson, who will be joining the morning show as co-host with Nikki Balch and Sam Lupovich from 5:30am to 8:20am Monday to Friday. Andy will be joining the team on February 4th, 2019, and they are sure to make for a one-of-a-kind, never before heard morning show.
Andy Wilson comes to Montreal with over 15 years of morning show experience in Toronto. He started out as the intern that did coffee runs for Humble and Fred, then became junior Producer for Mad Dog and Billie, and finally, producer of Tucker in the Morning on 99.9 Virgin Radio. Andy was an on-air contributor hosting interviews, red carpet events and his own feature called 'Whatcha Doing at the Courthouse?'
If you want to sum up Andy's personality in one word, it's "real"... That's the kind of radio he believes in! He believes the best way to get to know someone is to talk with them. Andy is thrilled to get to know everyone, eat smoked meat, explore Montreal and for Montrealers to get to know him. Also, he's not a Leafs fan and believes extra curds on a poutine is the only way to eat one, so... There's that!
We are absolutely thrilled to have Andy among our ranks here are The Beat 92.5. His infectious personality and extensive radio experience will be the perfect ingredient to add to Nikki and Sam during Montreal's morning commute. His addition to the team will bring a new, fun and interesting dynamic.
This follows the resignation of Vinny Barrucco, who’s been with the station for 7 years. We thank Vinny for these wonderful years and his contribution to The Beat’s success, making it the most-listened-to radio station in Montreal.
Here at The Beat 92.5, we pride ourselves in giving our beautiful city a perfect mix of humor, seriousness, music and lifestyle. We are eager to add Andy into that perfect mix! Montreal, brace yourself for “Mornings with Nikki, Sam and Andy"!
