Canada Day is this Sunday, and for the occasion, Montreal will be teeming with activities for the whole family! This year, the Old Port’s Jacques-Cartier Pier will be the main site for all sorts of activities, including family fun, music, ceremonies and fireworks! Check out the full schedule in this gallery.
- 11:30 a.m. - 11:55 a.m.: Musical performance by Philippe Beaudin
- 12 p.m.: 21-gun salute
The official start of the celebrations!
- 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Activities all afternoon!
Ball Hockey is on the menu.
- Inflatable Games

- 1 p.m.: Swearing-In Ceremony for new Canadian Citizens
Raising of the flag, national anthem performances and ceremonies.
- 2 p.m.: Canada Day Cake
Guests will be invited to taste this 2 000-piece cake.
- 2:30 p.m.: Dancing Session
Burn away those cake calories with hosts who will introduce you to many styles of dance.
- 3:30 p.m.: Makeup for Kids
Head over to the All United Tent for a makeup booth where kids will be transformed into all sorts of wild creatures, superheroes and more!
- 8:30 p.m.: Musical Performances
Including: Les Petites Voix du Plateau choir with pianist Roseline Blain; H’SAO; Bea Box (a.k.a. Joanie Labelle); Geraldina Mendez, soprano; Nomad’Stones; and DJ ECP (Étienne Côté-Paluck).
- 10:00 p.m.: Fireworks!
