Forever 21’s days are numbered in Canada and the United States. The LA-based fashion retailer has announced it is closing down 178 stores in the United States and 44 in Canada after filing for bankruptcy protection.

The brand is focusing on the American market, where it will be keeping about 300 stores open.

A Sale Coming
This is great news for Canadian shoppers ahead of the holiday season… Because it means there’s going to be a HUGE sale coming at Forever 21!

“We have plans to liquidate our store inventory in the near term,” the company said in a statement.

It also looks like Canadians will still be able to enjoy Forever 21’s apparel, even after stores close down later this year. “Canadian customers can continue to shop our curated assortment of merchandise on our U.S. website,” the company said.
