Montrealers, be aware: a snowfall warning is in effect for the area and road conditions are expected to be slow, slippery and sketchy Tuesday.
Environment Canada is forecasting 15 to 20cm of snow to fall on the Montreal area, with up to 25cm covering certain areas. As a reminder, the deadline for having snow tires installed on your vehicle has been pushed forward to December 1st this year… But that’s still 19 days away!
Expect many drivers to not have their winter tires installed yet, making driving conditions still more treacherous as those individuals skid around the road on their summer or all-season tires.
So… Be extra-careful out there tonight and tomorrow, and make sure you’ve got hat, gloves, snow brush, scraper and washer fluid handy in your car at all times! Winter is back, and it’s not going anywhere for a while!
