A Quebec teachers’ union is suing the Quebec government for information on the COVID-19 back-to-school plan

The Federation "autonome de l’enseignement" is suing to get the documents used to prepare the province’s back-to-school plan  - they say authorities aren’t being transparent about the number of infections in schools or if there are rapid-testing systems in place for schools.

A spokeswoman for Education Minister says the province’s back-to-school plan is based on public health recommendations, each school is assigned a testing center, and they’re working “non-stop” to update the government’s list of schools reporting cases -  as it stands a parent-run site (covidecolesquebec.org) counts 285 schools with at least one case of covid19.
