What are you and your family planning to do for March break? If you're staying in town, it's the perfect occasion to do activities that are outside the "normal" routine! Why not do a daytime activity somewhere nearby? You'll save on gas, hotels. etc...
Here are some awesome "day trips" and activities to do as a family this March break!
Take a Day Trip:
1. Visit Space for Life. Insectarium, Biodome, Planetarium, Botanical Gardens
Conveniently located in Montreal's Olympic Park complex, Space for Life is super fun for both kids and adults! Learn about - or simply admire - the huge variety of expositions here. Insects, plants and wildlife are all on display and ready to amaze and entertain. You can easily spend all day here.
Want your kids to learn? You're in luck - and you may even learn a thing or two yourself!
3. Go watch a movie at the movie theatre.
Movies are a great way to relax and have some family fun! Some of the top movies in theatres now include "A Star is Born", "Alita: Battle Angel", "Aquaman" and "Bohemian Rhapsody".
4. Go skating with the whole family!
Montreal has literally hundreds of outdoor rinks, or you can also enjoy the fun indoors at Atrium Le 1000 if the weather turns foul!
5. Spend the day at Funtropolis
Funtropolis is a great spot for parties and get-togethers, with two locations in Laval and Saint-Hubert.
6. Fly at Sky Venture
Check out our recent video of Donna and CJ taking freefall lessons at Skyventure... You could be next in line for this amazing activity!
7. Putting Edge
Mini-golf in the heart of Montreal is available at Putting Edge... Perfect for hours of fun!
8. Jump high at iSaute
Trampolines galore! iSaute is the biggest trampoline park around, and a great place if you or your kids are interested in this unique sport.
9. Battle it out at Nerf Hero
Nerf Hero is a fun spot to let off some steam by shooting harmless styrofoam darts at each other!
