For all the challenges of our long, cold winters, Montreal is one of the world’s most beautiful and welcoming cities come summertime… That is, if you’re able to get out of traffic! It’s a very walkable city, because it was designed that way. Back when Montreal was built, cars didn’t exist, and no one could get around town much faster than the speed of a horse.
