Singer Billie Eilish and actor Woody Harrelson have joined their voices to those of millions around the world who marched in last Friday’s historic climate strike. The stars posted a video to YouTube urging fans to join their voices to demand action against climate change.

Woody encouraged fans to “vote for leaders who care about the future of our planet” and to “join in supporting environment movements like Greenpeace or Fridays for Future.”

Billie joined in, asking fans to do what they can “to live in a greener lifestyle, like cutting out meat and dairy in your diet and reducing plastic use.”

Billie Eilish’s “Green Tour”

Meanwhile, the “Bad Guy” hitmaker has announced plans for an eco-friendly world tour. Billie Eilish’s ‘Where Do We Go’ tour will make every effort to be eco-friendly, and each tour date will feature a “Billie Eilish Eco-Village” in the venue.

Billie herself outlined some of the steps that will be taken to make her tour greener. There will be no plastic straws at the venues, and recycle bins will be made available at all shows.

The “Billie Eilish Eco-Villages” are a space where fans will be able to learn more about climate change and ways to become involved.

The ‘Where Do We Go’ tour will make 22 stops worldwide, but just one in Canada – at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena.
