Sandra Bullock had a very stylish Golden Globes date after the designers at Oscar de la Renta made a custom bow for her rescue dog.
The Bird Box star attended the Los Angeles ceremony in a strapless ochre gown on Sunday and took along her pup Sweetie, who wore a large bow made of the same fabric around his neck.
The news was announced by representatives for Wagmor Pet Hotel & Spa, the organisation through which Bullock adopted her furry pal, via Instagram on Thursday, when they shared a snap of Sweetie sitting by Sandra's feet and looking up at her owner while wearing the bow.
"We love this so much. @oscardelarenta dressed our rescue Sweetie for the #Golden Globes. #Sandra Bullock sent this to us and asked us to post an update," they wrote, alongside an image of Bullock and Sweetie in the matching attire.
The statement also revealed the dog's horrific past.
"To think this sweet girl spent her first three years in a kennel. Her vocal cords were cut with a spoon. She was shown zero affection. Now look at her," the animal rescue charity bosses added. "Sandra looks STUNNING too."
Representatives from the fashion brand also shared images of the matching look and wrote in the caption, "Sweetie de la Renta nails the mommy-and-me look for tonight's Golden Globes."
Bullock was on hand during the annual event to present the final award for Best Motion Picture - Drama to director Sam Mendes for his World War I drama 1917.
