Chris Pine's everyday wardrobe was reportedly inspired by his time spent on the set of Wonder Woman 1984.
The 40-year-old actor reprised his role for Patty Jenkins' follow-up to her hit 2017 blockbuster, which saw his character Steve Trevor reunite with Gal Gadot's titular character in the 1980s.
In one montage, the former American spy can be seen trying on extravagant outfits from the '80s, and Gadot revealed that her co-star was so impressed by one particular accessory – a fanny pack – that he kept it on, even when he wasn't in front of the camera.
"Oh, he loved it. He’s the only one who can pull off this look, honestly," she joked during an interview on The Big Ticket podcast, before noting that Pine was influenced to purchase his own '80s-themed pieces after filming finished.
"But in real life he actually got himself his own fanny pack. And he used to ride a bicycle around the sets, on location, wherever we were and come visit us," Gadot explained. "And he completely looked like someone from the eighties.
"He loved the whole fashion and style but at the time he was using it for his personal life. And it looked good on him!" she quipped.
Wonder Woman 1984, also starring Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal, is available to watch on video on-demand services now.
