Actor Regé-Jean Page— a.k.a. the Duke of Hastings— graced fans with his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live this weekend, and as expected, the ladies couldn’t help but swoon over his guest appearance.
"You probably recognize me from Bridgerton, the show that made everyone turn to their moms and say, 'You know what? Nevermind I don't think we should watch this together.' It's a bit of a racy show. And because of that, people may associate me being this smoldering, sexual smoke show. But I assure you, I'm just a regular guy," Page said during his monologue at the start of the show before turning to a separate camera and saying, "I'm here to show you a good time and explore each other. Does that sound fun to you?"
From there, the British heartthrob stole the show with several hilarious (and horny) sketches, including “The Job Interview,” which garnered the most YouTube views since airing Saturday night.
Saturday Night Live‘s Feb. 20 telecast was such a success, it was one of the highest rated episodes this season. In fact, the show is so popular right now, it marks the first time in its history, SNL remains #1 among all comedies on broadcast and cable in 18-49 and total viewers.
The Feb. 20 episode was also a first for musical guest Bad Bunny who is currently nominated for two 2021 Grammy Awards, including best Latin pop or urban album.
