British royal Princess Eugenie is engaged to marry her long-time boyfriend Jack Brooksbank.
Representatives for Buckingham Palace announced on Monday morning (22Jan18) that Eugenie became engaged to Jack after he popped the question during a trip to Nicaragua earlier this month.
Eugenie, the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and his former wife Sarah, Duchess of York, will tie the knot at a ceremony to be held in the autumn months at St George's Chapel in Windsor, the same location where her cousin Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle will marry at in May (18).
"The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Mr. Jack Brooksbank," a statement read. "The wedding will take place in the Autumn of 2018 at George's Chapel in Windsor, with further details to be announced in due course."
Eugenie, 27, who is eighth in the line of succession to the British throne, first began dating Jack, 31, back in 2011.
