Soul of the City is an artist-run, non-profit music festival shining a spotlight on Montreal’s vibrant, emerging Soul and R&B scene.
Making its inaugural debut from August 12–16, 2026, the five-day event brings deep grooves and fresh talent to iconic local venues Casa del Popolo, La Sala Rossa, and La Sotterenea. Featuring a stacked lineup including Coco Rose, Janette King, Aphrose, and Avery Jane, it’s a community-driven celebration of the city's rich musical pulse.
