Courteney Cox has landed a L'Oreal Paris hair color campaign.

The Friends actress joins Julianne Moore and Amber Heard in the new commercial, promoting the brand's Superior Preference range.

The product first launched in 1973 - introducing the now famous tagline "Because I'm Worth It" - and Courteney's adverts will get their first airing during the Golden Globes coverage on Sunday (06Jan19).

"I actually maintain my hair color at home - it's really easy," the star, who used to be a Pantene ambassador, smiled to reporters at People.com. "I don't have a lot of grey, but I do touch-ups. And once every two months I'll go to the salon, just because it's a nice pampering.

"I wash my hair every day. Sometimes I'll put a comb through it, but most days I just go! I don't brush it (either), so I was thrilled that L'Oreal wanted to work with me! It's a real compliment."

Revealing her go-to hue is 3C Cool Darkest Brown, the 54-year-old noted that she's sticking with brunette when it comes to her hair color.

"I've changed my hair color for a couple of characters. But I've really been a brunette my entire life. It's who I am," she said.

During her chat with People, the actress, who now rocks a much more natural look, also explained how she's finally embraced getting older, after initially having "a hard time" with it.
