More rain is on the way, Environment Canada is warning, and possibly more flooding, too. In total, 25 to 45 mm of rain are expected in the Montreal area by Friday evening.

Since spring freshet has not ended in many areas, flooding is possible in the most vulnerable areas. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Major flooding across Southern Quebec this year has affected over 7,000 homes and forced 10,000 citizens to evacuate until the waters recede.
