Actress and singer Natalie Imbruglia is a new mum.
The 44-year-old Torn hitmaker has shared her happy news with fans via Instagram by posting a sweet photo of herself holding her baby son's hand.
"Welcome to the world... Max Valentine Imbruglia," she captioned the sweet shot. "My heart is bursting."
The Australian star's celebrity friends were quick to congratulate the first-time mum, with singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor writing: "Yay! Hello, Max! Welcome indeed. So glad you're here safe and sound. Congratulations, mama!"
Imbruglia announced she was pregnant in July, after undergoing in vitro fertilisation (IVF) with the help of a sperm donor.
"For those of you who know me, this has been something I have wanted for a very long time," she explained via Instagram at the time. "I'm blessed that this is possible."
Natalie, who was married to former Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns until they split in 2008, has yet to reveal the identity of her child's father.
