Well, we thought so too… Until we saw TikTok star Paige Niemann, that is!
The social media star, just 15, is a big fan of Ariana’s. She started trying to learn to do her face like Ariana when she was just 12, she told Cosmopolitan. Since then, she has perfected her particular brand of “tribute” to the singer, to the point of accumulating a whopping 1.9 million followers on TikTok (!!!).
Her Instagram is also a goldmine of visual Ariana-isms. She has 203,000 followers there.
Looking just like her idol has taken a lot of practice. “I’ve watched many tutorials and come up with my own techniques with hair and makeup. I have evolved and really enjoy it,” Paige said.
Now, Paige’s efforts have paid off after Ariana reacted on Twitter to one of her videos. We’re happy for Paige, since she seems determined to keep this going… And with good reason! Cosmo reports that the young TikTokker has gained 30,000 followers since Ariana reacted to her video. Good for her!
