When you think back to 2020, what songs will you remember the most? Obviously, the answer will be different for everyone depending on where they live, what genres they prefer, and what radio stations they listen to. However, each year, popular music streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music reveal their most-played tracks and the results give us a better idea of what was trending over the past 365 days.

Here is the list of who topped the charts around the world and in Canada?

Top Song

Spotify: “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd

Apple Music: “The Box” by Roddy Ricch

Amazon Music: ”Savage Love” by Jawish 685 and Jason Derullo

**Meanwhile, the best-Selling Song on Amazon was “Filter” by BTS.

Top Artist

Spotify:  Bad Bunny (globally) and Drake (Canada)

Amazon: Taylor Swift

Apple Music has not released its data on who was the most popular artist on its platform in 2020.

According to Spotify, Bad Bunny was streamed 8.6 billion times.

Top Album

Spotify: Bad Bunny YHLQMDLC (Global) and Pop Smoke, Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon (Canada)

Apple Music: Roddy Ricch, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial (Global)
