Kendall Jenner served as her own stylist for Matthew Williams' debut Givenchy campaign.
The American designer, the co-founder of 1017 ALYX 9SM, took over from Clare Waight Keller as the creative director of the luxury French fashion house in June last year, and his first global campaign in the new role has now been released, featuring the likes of Kendall, Bella Hadid, Anok Yai, Liam Powers, and rapper Playboi Carti.
According to WWD, Williams called on Kendall and Carti to put their own style stamp on pieces from his first spring collection.
In one of her images, Kendall can be seen sitting on a red cube in a skin-tight red top and matching trousers, with a gold handbag resting between her legs. She also sports chunky gold earrings and a necklace, and her hair slicked back.
Carti opted for a mesh tank top and a dark green leather bomber jacket for one image, and a beige coat, handbag, and matching metallic-effect trousers in another.
Bella, Anok, and Liam posed for Korean-born, German photographer Heji Shin against different coloured backdrops in New York under the supervision of Williams.
"My ethos is about the luxury of infusing clothes with your own personality, not being worn by them," Williams said to the publication. "In each of these portraits, a strong character wears a look that reflects who they are: They're the ones who bring the clothes to life."
The campaign images debuted on Givenchy's social pages on Thursday and will subsequently be rolled out to magazines and outdoor advertising spaces.
