Gigi Hadid didn't put herself under pressure to lose her post-baby weight to be photographed for U.S. Vogue just 10 weeks after giving birth.
The 25-year-old welcomed her and boyfriend Zayn Malik's first child, daughter Khai, in September last year, and she confessed she didn't put herself under any pressure to lose any weight to front the fashion bible's March issue.
"I know that I'm not as small as I was before, but I also am a very realistic thinker," Gigi said in the shoot's accompanying interview. "I straight up was like, 'Yeah, I'll shoot a Vogue cover, but I'm obviously not going to be a size 0,' nor do I, at this point, feel like I need to be back to that.
"I also think it's a blessing of this time in fashion that anyone who says that I have to be that can suck it."
Gigi also said that she's contemplating a new direction for her modelling career, and doesn't want to be flying all over the world to shoot campaigns.
"I'm veering toward things that feel more stable than being in a different country every week," she stated.
Elsewhere in the Vogue interview, Gigi revealed that the tot will be raised in Pennsylvania, close to her family's sprawling farm.
"I think she'll definitely be raised here. The greenery and the farm-y lifestyle are similar to what made me feel really centred as a kid, and I think that's really important to Zayn and me," she explained.
After the birth of their first child, the notoriously private couple refused to disclose the name of the tot until Gigi subtly revealed her moniker in her bio on Instagram, and Pillow Talk hitmaker Zayn got a tattoo of their daughter's name written in Arabic.
And eagle-eyed viewers of Gigi's new make-up tutorial for Vogue spotted that the model also has a matching design on her bicep.
