Jennifer Lopez has debuted a new pixie cut on the March cover of Allure magazine.
The Jenny from the Block star has ditched her trademark long locks in favour of a wet-look pixie hairstyle for the 30th anniversary cover of Allure.
Her longtime stylist Chris Appleton shared the cover on Instagram and wrote in the caption, "So we changed it up (scissors emoji) for @allure cover shoot!" and on his Instagram Stories, he described her hairdo as a "90s-inspired wet look crop".
On the cover, Lopez wears nothing but a single House of Emmanuele drop earring as well as Brilliant Eyes Liquid Eye Shadow in Rose Gem, True Match Lumi Glow Nude Highlighter Palette in Sunkissed, and Infallible 8 Hour Pro Lip Gloss in Coral Sands, all by L'Oréal Paris.
In another image, she rocks the Star Filter Highlighting Complexion Booster from her JLo Beauty line, which she launched in January.
The shoot was styled by Lady Gaga's frequent collaborator Nicola Formichetti and photographed by Daniella Midenge.
Appleton, whose clients also include Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande and Katy Perry, told Page Six Style back in December that he would love for Lopez to switch up her hairstyle and go shorter.
"I'd like short hair on her," he said. "For a while when we were into bobs and stuff - Jennifer is always changing it up - but sometimes she's like 'I'm not in the mood for short hair.' And I'm like 'Why, it's so cute?' But we always comprise and end up on the same wavelength."
