Anya Taylor-Joy, Margot Robbie and Amanda Seyfried were among the stars who rocked show-stopping looks for the virtual 2021 Golden Globes.
The ceremony, which is traditionally the first big event of awards season, was held digitally this year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, with only a handful of stars walking the socially distanced red carpet at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles and New York's Rainbow Room.
Despite the scaled-back event, with nominees appearing via video calls from their homes, stars still delivered show-stopping designer gowns for the awards ceremony.
The Queen's Gambit star Anya, who won the award for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film for her role in the hit Netflix show, teamed up with stylist Law Roach who dressed her in a custom emerald Dior Haute Couture gown, paired with Tiffany & Co. jewels, and a chess-inspired manicure.
Margot served as one of the ceremony's presenters on Sunday night, and wore a Chanel monochrome tiered maxi dress from the spring/summer 2021 collection, while Amanda donned a peachy pink custom Oscar de la Renta gown, which featured off-the-shoulder straps made from silk flowers.
Viola Davis, who lost out to Andra Day for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, celebrated African fashion with her colourful fishtail gown by Cameroon-born designer Claude Kameni's label Lavie by CK, which featured puffball sleeves and a stunning red, fuchsia and yellow print.
Cynthia Erivo wowed with her straight-off-the-runway sculpted apple green dress by Valentino Haute Couture, and Elle Fanning channelled old Hollywood glamour with her pale blue Gucci silk dress.
Rosamund Pike was a winner on and off the virtual red carpet this year, as she scooped the Best Actress – Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy award for her role in I Care A Lot, while rocking a red tulle Molly Goddard frock, paired with chunky Alexander McQueen black boots.
Regina King wore a shimmering asymmetric Louis Vuitton column gown, and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan also opted for a tulle Molly Goddard creation, teaming her lemon yellow gown with a black cardigan.
Isla Fisher upped the style stakes from her home in a hot pink Alex Perry long-sleeve gown, Gillian Anderson rocked a gold lame Dior Haute Couture piece, Salma Hayek donned a red Alexander McQueen dress, and Lily Collins stunned in a one-shoulder Saint Laurent column creation.
