Canada's favorite hockey dad, Walter Gretzky has died 

After a nine-year battle with Parkinson's disease, he passed away yesterday at the age of 82. 

We all know how Walter raised and helped coach Wayne Gretzky to greatness, but his dedication to minor hockey, to charities and his friendly demeanor is how most  Canadians will remember him
