Halle Berry recently staged a high-fashion photoshoot in her backyard as she is missing being able to flaunt designer gowns on the red carpet.
The 54-year-old expressed her sadness at not being able to rock designer looks during the current awards season due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and threw her own impromptu event instead.
"Looking for a red carpet moment (This beauty was designed by @csiriano)," Halle wrote on Instagram, alongside three photos of her posing in a dramatic midriff-baring outfit.
The look was from Christian Siriano's pre-fall 2021 collection and featured a black sheer butterfly-embellished crop top, teamed with an extravagant black tulle ballgown skirt that cascaded at the back.
"Omg love love love you!!!" the designer wrote in the comments, alongside black heart emojis to match her show-stopping look.
Meanwhile, Halle's famous friends, including Kerry Washington, showed their love for the Oscar winner's pandemic-era fashion shoot.
"Love," Vanessa Bryant wrote, while Ciara added: "So pretty."
The Monster's Ball star also shared a series of videos on her Instagram Stories showing off her stunning outfit, giving her followers a close-up of the delicate butterfly designs.
"Get this woman a red carpet ... WE READY. Hair @halleberry using @oribe@randco @ghd_northamerica," hairstylist Sara Seward wrote alongside a close-up shot of Halle's loose updo, complemented by her graphic white and black make-up, which was created by Jorge Monroy.
