Jessica Simpson is ready to get back into denim after "living" in tie-dye loungewear.
The fashion mogul, whose spring 2021 collection is available now, is a huge fan of the various flared jean options available in the latest Jessica Simpson Collection range, adding that she can't wait to swap her sweats for something more glamorous.
"I have been living in tie-dye sweats, which I love... but after a year I am ready to get back into some denim," she told People magazine. "I always feel confident in a great pair of flare jeans that fit me well.
"I love the long floral dusters - you can dress up a tank top by layering one on, or you can match them to your pants for a relaxed look. There are so many retro sandals and clogs this season. I always gravitate toward a platform. By the time spring rolls around I am ready to break out denim shorts with a pair of heels!"
Jessica worked on the boho-inspired collection remotely as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and while it was challenging at times, she said it was a "blessing" to spend quality time with her husband Eric Johnson and their three children.
The 40-year-old star even shot the entire campaign at her home in Los Angeles and revealed it was fun to "reinvent" her house for the photoshoot.
Jessica also revealed her two daughters, eight-year-old Maxwell and 23-month-old Birdie, already have their own distinct sense of style.
"I love to see their personalities start to come out in what they choose to wear," she smiled. "Maxi is a lot like my sister Ashlee (Simpson). She has a very clear perspective and is extremely creative and bold and Birdie is a shoe fanatic. She changes shoes five times a day. If we receive new shoes, Birdie is the first one to wear them."
