Hailey Bieber has named Rihanna as her ultimate style inspiration.
The model spoke to British Vogue about how her approach to style has changed since spending so much time at home with husband Justin Bieber during the Covid-19 health crisis, and credited the Umbrella hitmaker with giving her the confidence to embrace new looks.
“This year is the year that I decided to try different things like to kind of step a little bit outside of my comfort zone with how I dress. I think obviously I’m always going to be the girl that wants to wear oversized jeans, oversized coats and oversized jackets, it’s just part of the tomboy side of my style," she explained. "But I also look to Rihanna for style inspiration – I think that she just kills it every single time.”
The 24-year-old also said she was a big fan of fellow model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and took style tips from the British beauty.
“I feel like she knows I say this at this point because I’ve said it for like five years now," Hailey joked.
She confessed that being holed up at her and Justin's home in Canada during the first four months of the coronavirus outbreak with nothing to do actually prompted her to dress up more.
“There was nothing to do, there was nothing to dress up for. So towards the end of that, I started getting dressed at home and putting outfits together at home. I feel like it was good for my mental health and wellbeing, and it felt good for me to even just put together outfits," she shared.
