Teyana Taylor continues to add more impressive accomplishments to her already packed resume!
The 30-year-old was recently named Maxim's Sexiest Woman Alive topping the magazine's 2021 Hot 100 list. With the new honor, she also made history as the first Black woman to land the top spot on the coveted sexy list.
On Tuesday, Maxim released the image of its latest cover featuring the singer, actress, choreographer, model, director, and entrepreneur showing off her washboard abs in a stunning photo.
“I’ve followed Maxim for a long time and I’ve always felt like I should be on the cover,” Taylor told the magazine during the cover interview. “So to actually get the call saying they want me on the cover really means a lot. I was like, what? They want me on the cover? Okay!”

Arguably her breakthrough moment was starring in and choreographing Kanye West’s “Fade” video, for which she garnered international attention— however, Taylor also famously birthed her first child during a surprise in-home emergency in 2015 which made frontpage news.
Taylor, who now shares two daughters with her husband, professional basketball player Iman Shumpert, shared the news in an Instagram post writing; “Embrace and love yourselves for who [and] what you are because only the purest heart shines through.”
As for the magazine, she appears on the cover of the July/August 2021 issue.
