Piknic Électronik is back! The popular weekly electronic music festival which takes place every weekend during the summer in Montreal announced that it will return for its 18th edition this Saturday, July 3.
After a year away, music-lovers will be able to party on Saturdays and Sundays with more than 20 events to enjoy throughout the summer, all while respecting Public Health orders.
According to the press release, this special edition will welcome a limited number of guests twice a day, on different stages — once in the afternoon from 1 to 5 pm, and once in the evening from 6 to 10 pm.
Tickets for the first weekend will go on sale on July 1. Tickets for other upcoming events will be on-sale gradually in the next weeks.
Wearing a facemask will be mandatory on-site, except once you arrive at your designated area.
Established in 2003, the festival takes place at Parc Jean-Drapeau, only ten minutes outside of downtown Montreal, and features local and international DJs and producers. The festival concentrates on house and minimal techno genres, but all forms of electronic music are showcased. This season’s soundtrack will once again honor major names and young emerging talents.
