The list of the world’s best airports is out, and there are some surprises.
For the first time in almost 10 years, Singapore has dropped out of first place and Doha’s Hamad International Airport took the top spot in the ‘World's Best Airport’ category while Canada's Vancouver International Airport was voted the best airport in North America.
Meanwhile, Montrealers have one more thing to be proud of as Montréal-Trudeau International Airport also made the list, ranked as the 10th best airport in all of North America and third-best in Canada!
According to Skytrax, they evaluated more than 550 airports worldwide and of all the airports it surveyed, Montréal-Trudeau ranked 63rd overall.
Conducted from August 2020 until July 2021, and assessing customer service and facilities, the annual customer survey for the passenger’s choice awards saw many travellers vote for their favourite airport based on both pre-pandemic and post-pandemic travel experiences.
