After photos comparing Dwayne Johnson to a look-alike police officer went viral, the movie star took to social media to express how impressed he is by the uncanny resemblance.
"Oh s---! Wow," Johnson tweeted Monday, reposting a side-by-side photo of himself and Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields of the Alabama Morgan County Sheriff's Office.
As you can see by the image above, both men are seen flashing a smile while wearing aviator sunglasses in the photo, making it hard to determine who is who.
"Guy on the left is way cooler," Johnson wrote, referencing Fields. "Stay safe brother and thank you for your service. One day we'll drink @Teremana and I need to hear all your "Rock stories" because I KNOW you got 'em," he teased, promising to raise a glass with his signature tequila.
Fields, a 17-year veteran, told AL.com this isn't the first time people have said he looks like the movie star.
The 37-year-old officer explained that he finds the comparisons "humorous" and "flattering," but admitted the similarities bring a certain amount of pressure.
"I don't want to disappoint anybody," Eric shared. "I walk up one day and at a different angle, I don't know. It's flattering, but it's also a little nerve-racking as far as what others expect."
