It’s that time of year again! The MTV VMA’s are taking the stage for their 37th annual ceremony and here is everything you need to know before watching the main event…

The VMA's, known for its music, celebrities, fashion, and controversy, is being hosted by none other than Doja Cat for this year’s 37th award show. From Kanye interrupting Taylor, to Miss Gaga’s meat dress and more… We are definitely expecting the unexpected!

But, before taking a trip down memory lane - here is a breakdown of things that you can expect at tonight’s show:

Justin Bieber is leading the nominations with 7 nods, including “Artist of The Year '', with Meghan Thee Stallion following him with six nods in total.

According to USA Today, we can expect performances by Lil Nas X, Justin Bieber and Kid Laroi, Travis Barker and MGK, along with a special performance by The Foo Fighters, as recipients of this year’s Global Icon Award.

Some presenters expected to take the stage include: AJ McLean, Ashanti, Avril Lavigne, Billie Eilish, Billy Porter, Conor McGregor, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Fat Joe, Hailey Bieber, Halle Bailey, Ja Rule, Lance Bass, Megan Fox, Nick Lachey, Rita Ora, Simone Biles and Barker.

This year’s event will be taking place at New York City’s Barclays Centre at 8 p.m. EST.
