Gymnast Simone Biles is engaged to her boyfriend Jonathan Owens.
The Olympic medal-winning gymnast announced their engagement on Instagram on Tuesday by sharing snaps of the proposal as well as close-ups of her oval-shaped diamond ring.
"The easiest yes," the 24-year-old wrote on Instagram. "I can't wait to spend forever & ever with you, you're everything I dreamed of and more! Let's get married FIANCÉ."
In the comments, the American footballer player wrote, "Ready for forever with you" with a heart emoji.
The photos show Simone's look of shock and excitement as Jonathan gets down on one knee in Houston, Texas, where his team is based.
Sharing the same photos on his Instagram account, the sports star wrote, "Woke up this morning with a fiancée... Appreciate my dawg @don_julio314 for helping me set everything up, she really had no clue what was coming (laughing emoji) @zofrost (ring designer) you went crazy on this one bro really made the night special."
Simone and Jonathan met on celebrity dating app Raya just before the pandemic in March 2020.
