Everyone has a favourite type of TV show. For some, it's true crime documentaries. For others, it's all about reality TV. And, well, for the best of us, it's sitcoms.

The best thing about sitcoms? They're funny, relatable, light, and, most of all, bingeable (AKA you feel less guilty watching 10 episodes in a row than you do any other TV show...) According to experts from StudyFinds, these are the top 5 funniest sitcoms of all time:

5. Parks & Recreation

This show from the early 2010's starring Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman, and Chris Pratt is best described as a show composed of good people trying to do good things (psst... watch Season 2 Episode 10 for some really good laughs!)

4. Friends

Ahhh, Friends. Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross sure made us laugh throughout the years. And let's not forget their long-awaited reunion in 2021, "I'll be there for youuuuuu!"

3. Cheers

Not only did 'Cheers' go on for 10 years, but it even served as an inspiration to some other popular sitcoms like 'Seinfeld'! We have to give it to them for running 11 seasons without ever running out of charms, laughter, or fun!

2. The Office

In second position is the one and only...'The Office'. Not only did this show inspire many hilarious memes and gifs still widely used today, but it was even described as "a show so iconic that even your grandma probably heard about it." Now there's a reason to rewatch every season!

1. Seinfeld

In first position we have, of course, 'Seinfeld'! A show starring everyday people in everyday situations is what truly lead this series to be one of the most influential in the industry. "Oh I gotta get on that internet, I'm late on everything!"
