If the world were 100 people, maybe it would be a little easier to get along. (The real world population is around 7.5 BILLION… That’s a lot of mouths to feed!)
It would definitely be easier to understand each other’s problems!
In fact, there’s a website out there called 100people.org that has set out to give us a statistical idea of what the world would look like if there were only 100 people. Percentages are very easy to understand, which is why this type of portrait works to increase empathy and perspective.
