M*A*S*H and Hunger Games Actor Donald Sutherland dies at 88

Actor Donald Sutherland, who starred in major films including The Hunger Games and M*A*S*H, has died at 88 after a long illness.

The statement was released by his son Kiefer.

The late Emmy and Golden Globe-actor became a movie star icon with films including “Ordinary People,” and was most recently recognized for his role as President Snow in “The Hunger Games' franchise.
