You Can Take a University Class on Drake This Fall at Concordia University

If you are looking for a unique elective to add to your schedule this fall, this upcoming class might be exactly what you need.

Concordia University has announced a brand-new course for the Fall 2026 semester titled “Drake: Media, Myth & Manhood.” The curriculum will offer a close look at Drake’s extensive catalog, his cultural mythology, and the music industry systems that surrounding him. It will also feature a case study on his OVO brand, extending the conversation well beyond the artist himself.

The course will be taught by rapper and professor Yassin “Narcy” Alsalman, who has has previously designed and taught university-level courses on Kanye West.
