Celine Dion has a warehouse space full of old outfits and shoes because she can't give them away after she wears them.

The singer admits she has become a bit of a clothes hoarder over the years and now she has such a collection, she needs a storage space to keep them all safe.

"I cannot give anything away because every piece that I buy has brought me to where I am...," the I Drove All Night singer explains during a chat with Women's Wear Daily. "They're part of every step that I take and I have an attachment to it. You can call it crazy. I keep everything, but I just keep buying a bigger (warehouse) space.

"I have 10,000 pairs of shoes."

And she'll be adding a new outfit to the collection after Monday night's (01May17) Met Gala - Celine's debut at the New York City fashion Oscars.

"This is like having a job for the first time or having a kiss for the first time - this is big," she coos about her first Costume Institute Gala. "I'm not going to have enough eyes."

Celine was outfitted by Donatella Versace, who also accompanied the singer to the annual event, and the mom-of-three admits she has always been amazed by the Italian fashion queen's designs.

"She's always been supporting me and I mean that in different ways," Dion shares. "Through her talent and when I was back on stage she helped me with her amazing work to literally support me after delivering twins (in 2010). Three months (later) I was on stage and I did not look at all like I just had twins. I don't know how she does it."

This year's Met Gala was co-chaired by Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen, and Anna Wintour. The guests attendees included Kim Kardashian, Hailey Baldwin, Elizabeth Banks, Reese Witherspoon, Lily Collins, Cara Delevingne, Ashley Graham, and Hadid sisters Bella and Gigi.
