From Awareness to Action: Holly Manderson on Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Natasha spoke with Holly Manderson from Royal Lepage Village about hosting Walking a Mile In Her Shoe and having raised over $250,000 in support of three local women’s shelters: Auberge Transition, West Island Women’s Shelter, and Hébergement La Passerelle. This powerful, community-driven event invites men to walk a mile in red high heels as a bold show of solidarity with women and children affected by domestic violence. Women are also invited to participate with red ankle weights, “carrying the weight” for a mile. This year's event takes place on Saturday, August 23rd from 10am to 2pm, with the walk starting at 12pm. See you there!
