The Grammy Awards Have Added Two New Categories! — Adobe / Adobe

The Recording Academy has announced changes to its award category for a more inclusive ceremony set with changes coming February 1, 2026.

The main change is the Best Country Album category being split in two. The two new categories are Best Contemporary Country Album as well as Best Traditional Country Album.
