Justin Bieber has shaved off nearly all of his hair - months after vowing to grow his locks "to his toes".

The Canadian popstar has been sporting shaggy, shoulder-length hair of late, and in May (18), he uploaded videos to social media showing him shaking his long tresses, to which he added the captions, "Long hair don't care and my stash is gorgeous" and "I'm going to grow my hair down to my toes."

However, he took to Twitter on Tuesday (30Oct18) to upload a filtered selfie of him with a fresh buzzcut. He did not add any further comments to the post.

Yet, Justin's new look quickly caught the attention of his online followers, with many praising his new look.

"Justin Bieber cutting his hair is the best thing to happen to me in 2018," one Twitter user wrote, while another commented, "Justin Bieber CUT HIS HAIR! This is not a drill. Praise God!!"

A third excitedly added: "OUR PRAYERS CAME TRUE JUSTIN BIEBER CUT HIS HAIR."

While he was once known for his signature side-swept tresses, Justin has been pushing the boundaries with his look for several years now. The Sorry hitmaker has experimented with a natural light brown shade, cornrows, lilac hair, and blonde highlights, while he also previously shaved his head in April 2016 after trying out short dreadlocks.

Even though Justin hasn't shared any more details about his new hair, he did leave a comment on his new wife Hailey Baldwin's Instagram page on Tuesday after she announced that she is starring in fashion brand Pretty Little Thing's holiday campaign and posted a photo of herself posing in a silver fringe dress and glittery stilettos.

"Holy c**p this is hot," the 24-year-old wrote in the comments section of the snap.
