With social distancing being incredibly important, we are all spending a lot of time at home. Here are a few ideas to keep you busy during these tough times.

With the weather getting nicer go out and take a nice walk. With technology facetime and other creative ways are available to see our loved ones but why surprise them with a hand written letter that they will receive by mail. Since our everyday routine is not the same make sure to do some exercise for daily or at least 3 times a week to keep physical activity in your routine. There is a lot of online workouts you can follow, including yoga to destress. If you have not yet mastered meditating why not try. Meditation can really help you clear your mind and ease any negative feelings you may be experiencing.

Spring is just around the corner, so you can always tackle those closets or clutter that has been building up for the year. Spring cleaning is a good way to change your mood making you feel good after the job is done.

For your entertainment and relaxing period there are tons of digital ways to get creative. Stream new tv shows online that you may have not seen or had the time to watch.

Don’t forget to have family time, whether you have kids or not. Do play those board games that may have been collecting dust in your closet. Attempt to make your own board games together. Try to complete that puzzle that you never had the chance to. Read a book. If you have a e-reader there are options to check out books online and many libraries.

Stay into contact with family and friends. Technology today has so many ways to stay connected and now is the best time to use it. Whether it’s Facetime on your IPhone or Whatsapp you can get everyone together to stay in touch.

Another way to relax is to listen to your favorite music, maybe even dance a little. You can even listen to podcast while you are working around the house. The internet offers a lot of different FREE podcasts to suit your interests.

Try new things. Why not follow tutorials on crafts and different activities you have wanting to learn on YouTube whether it is knitting, painting, crocheting or even writing, there are so many different tutorials you can follow.
