Jane Fonda has launched a limited-edition apparel collection to raise funds for two charities.
The Grace and Frankie actress wore a matching grey tracksuit set, complete with a rainbow stripe which features the word "FONDA", on Instagram at the start of April and many fans took to the comments and asked if the cosy loungewear set was available to purchase.
As a result of the response, the 82-year-old announced on Instagram over the weekend that she had teamed up with officials at Crafted LA to make the tracksuit available to buy for a limited run and the proceeds from the sale would be split between Fire Drill Fridays, her climate change campaign, and the One Fair Wage Emergency Fund, which provides financial aid during the Covid-19 pandemic to workers who rely on tips to get by.
"After seeing the iancredible outpouring of love for the sweatsuits, my friends at Crafted LA decided to produce a limited run of the collection to donate 100 per cent of net proceeds to @FireDrillFriday and @1fairwage_official," she wrote. "Each purchase will help the fight against climate change and provide assistance to our service industry and tipped workers affected by COVID-19."
Crafted LA's Jane Fonda Collection also consists of the same tracksuit - a zip-up hoodie with a rainbow stripe up the back and elasticated jogging pants with the stripe down the right leg - in navy blue, as well as a white T-shirt featuring a flame motif and the initials "JF", and a white T-shirt bearing the words "Fire Drill Friday".
The tops cost $24.99 (£19.95) while the tracksuits retail for $84.99 (£68).
